South Wales hard rock band Fallen Temples consist of two-thirds of previous (and now defunct) PP&P band Tidal.
They formed in the summer of 2015 “with an appetite to play riff and groove laden hard rock, giving the nod to the old school heaviness created by Black Sabbath and brought into modern day by bands such as Rival Sons, Clutch and Soundgarden.”
Amongst the gigs they’ve played are Planet RockStock 2016 and a headline performance at Welsh festival Kingsfest. In a previous incarnation they’ve also shared the stage with the likes of NWOBHM royalty Diamond Head, (Motorhead’s) Phil Campbell’s All Star Band, Feeder and Revoker.

Formed in 2014 in Cardiff, Nuclear Lullaby have played a number of gigs and festivals in their short existence and produced an album, Keppoch 59, with a variety of songs under the umbrella ‘Alternative Rock’ but which all have their own unique vibe. For example, track one ‘Upgrade’, would suit grunge fans and would not sound amiss on a Nirvana album whereas track three ‘Zeus’ has a late ‘60s/early ‘70s psychedelic vibe.
Team the above mixture of grunge and psychedelia with catchy riffs and seductive vocals and that sums up Nuclear Lullaby in just a few words, oh and throw in the word 'addictive' as well.
I absolutely love both these tracks, they are on repeat on my mp3 player - but don't take my word for it, take a listen via the Soundcloud links below.
The band have a number of gigs coming up in the next few months, all of which are listed on their website and Facebook page, so if you get the chance then do go check them out.
